You can do
To make a centerpiece, paste the empty paint cans sections and apply paint. (We use Valspar’s signature paint on temperate Jamaica pepper, # 2006-9C, and Desert Fortress, # 2008-10B.) Allow to dry completely between layers.
Cute as a button
Make napkin rings with mini paint rollers (# 305802) and jute string (# 349245). Place a roller in the middle of a 36-inch piece of rope, wrap the string around the roller, and thread a vintage button before tying a knot in the back.
Matching party favors can be super easy. Simply wrap the jute string around the center of a votive crystal and place it in place. Then slide a bouquet of berries under the string and fill the jar with sweets or nuts.
Make nameplates for place settings with white hang tags, jute and painted clothespins. For an antique look, wash your painted dowels with a water-based primer coat (# 164759). Clip two clothespins to a label tied with a small length of jute. Set upright on the table.Garment belt crown
- For a rustic garland, cut a piece of 30-inch wire and form in a circle. Wrap the wire around itself to create a 7-inch circle. Clip 34 pints of clothes painted on wire (above painted pins with a water-based layer for an anguished look). Hang the string.
Create a Exclusive table runner with a drop cloth (# 74135) and washers (# 309772). Cut the cloth to length and sew the edges. Add the buttonholes near each place setting (follow the instructions on the buttonholes kit). Add a freshly cut twig or flower to each set.
Finish the ends of your table runner with a row of washers. Give a wink to each season and beautify with pine cones, paper hearts, fresh flowers, or Christmas decorations hanging from jute strings.
